Food Bank

How We
Can Help

The Food Bank on the Main Street Ministries campus is open every Saturday from 9:00am – 12:00noon and everyone is welcome.  Our inventory includes canned fruit, beans, vegetables, pasta, tomato sauce, box noodle dinners, cereal, peanut butter, jelly and frozen meats.  We also distribute fresh food, USDA Commodities and Thanksgiving Meal Hampers.

Feed my Lambs......Feed my sheep

After breakfast jesus asked Simon Peter, “Simon son of john, do you love me?”  “yes, Lord,” Peter replied, “you know i love you.”  “Then feed my lambs,” jesus told him.  Jesus repeated the question: “Simon son of john, do you love me?”  “yes lord,” peter said, “you know i love you.”  “Then take care of my sheep,” jesus said.  A third time he asked him, “Simon son of john, do you love me?”  Pete was hurt that jesus asked the question a third time.  He said, “lord, you know everything.  you know i love you.”  Jesus said, “then feed my sheep.”

covid 19 Food Bank process

With the onset of these uncertain times, we have shifted our “walk in” Food Bank system to “curbside” delivery.  This is being done out of an abundance of caution and love for all.

01

Arrive on Saturday

When arriving for Food Bank services on Saturday morning, please stay in your vehicle.

02

Call

After arriving, call 620-947-3393.  Identify yourself and your family, so that Food Bank Staff can assist.

03

curbside Delivery

Open your trunk and/or car door and then sit back and wait for our volunteers to bring the food items to your vehicle.
